BioI'm a grad student at the Dominican University Graduate School of Library and Information Science. Mouthful, ain't it? I'd say it's sucking the life out of me, but really I just procrastinate a lot. Why did I think this was a good idea?
Other than that, there's not much interesting in my life. Read my journal, if you don't believe me.

About friending. Or, "It's really more of a guideline than a rule."
In short, feel free. The vast majority of my journal is public, and I don't anticipate that changing anytime soon. I typically don't friend anyone without asking them first. If you let me know you're friending me and I know you through a community, chances are, I'll friend you back. Same thing if you don't tell me you're friending but comment a lot. If you don't say anything and don't comment much I probably won't friend you. Nothing personal, I probably just won't realize you're there.
While I like comments as much as anyone and I encourage you to comment (I do like to get to know people), don't feel like you have to. I will never defriend you because you "don't comment enough." I hope to receive the same courtesy. I don't always have time to read my whole f-list, much less comment on absolutely everything.
